Café Rouge London Southgate

Surprisingly good for a chain restaurant. Really cosy decor, and the staff is professional, yet friendly. Have been visiting a few times, can only say they have a brilliant team in the kitchen. The food is better than I have expected, it is in fact very good, and the portions are absolutely huge. I have had the Bouillabaisse twice, always delicious, and astonishing just how much fish each plate is loaded with. Nice setting, really good food, and all in all, very good value for the money. I will certainly be back.

Good variety on the menu. My chicken was moist and the wine sauce delicious. I was really pleased. Very calming to sit outside and enjoy the meal good for smokers.

Cafe Rouge is situated in a fantastic location and offers excellent service. The food is quite good, though not exceptional. However, the desserts are delightful. Enjoy your visit!

The staff were pleasant, and the food was decent. However, I have a habit of assessing a restaurant based on the quality and cleanliness of their restrooms. Unfortunately, this was a disappointment. The facilities were not clean and appeared quite neglected, with stained walls. Additionally, they had an unpleasant odor. This is simply not acceptable in today's standards. I can’t help but wonder about the state of the kitchen.

I had the afternoon tea, but I don't think it was worth the price. That said, it was a lovely couple of hours spent relaxing and enjoying conversation.
