Chez Vous - Central Dr, Hornchurch

Ordered via Uber eats, awful experience. Very small wings (only 4), hardly any meat, tasted slightly strange. There are so many other amazing Lebanese restaurants in the area try Al Mejles or Cedar. I will never cheat on them again. I’ve definitely learnt my lesson !

Just passing by and we decided to try. Really tasty food! Welcoming staff! It was a very nice discovery and definitely we will be back.

Friendliest service I’ve ever had. Superb falafel. Piping hot chips. Sauce was too spicy so they happily bought me out a cooler version. Really fresh zingy salads. Super reasonable prices. Beers on tap I hadn’t tried before too. Very chill vibes. Shall be back for another low key dinner soon. And takeaways.

I certainly did not have a good experience with the chicken shawarma from this place. In my opinion, they serve food that falls below average quality while charging prices that you would expect for something much better. The mixed grill I ordered was just alright, but the hummus and baba ganoush were decent. Overall, this was my first experience with them, and I’ve decided that I won’t be returning. Therefore, I do NOT recommend this restaurant. I understand how challenging it can be to run a takeaway kitchen (having been in that position myself), and it’s clear that a few reviews can significantly affect a business. However, some serious improvements are needed from the chef or owner if they want to receive better feedback in the future.

For our main course, we chose the mixed grill platter and the lamb shawarma. Both were excellent selections with generous portion sizes. The assorted meats in the mixed grill were expertly grilled, perfectly spiced, and incredibly tender. A delicious spicy sauce enhanced the flavor beautifully. The shawarma was served with your choice of chips or rice; I opted for rice, which pleasantly surprised me by also being accompanied by flatbread to soak up the savory juices. The lamb itself was juicy and tender. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal, finishing off with refreshing mint tea that was freshly brewed. As a delightful bonus, we were treated to another complimentary dessert. It was a lovely way to conclude our visit! I highly recommend this restaurant, and we will definitely return.
