Dickey's Barbecue Pit - Central Gardens

The food was really good. The okra was a bit too salty for my taste but the mac and cheese was delicious. They give a tiny amount for the price. They also don 't know what Texas size is that they advertise on their menu they will just ring you up for an extra side and a dessert instead of making it Texas size . The tiny portion size and not being able to make my husband 's meal Texas size is why I 'm giving this place a 4 star review. I will probably be back on a Sunday for kids eat free but I 'll just order a combo meal then because it seems like the better deal.For 15 dollars I got 4 tiny pieces of chicken, 3 tiny ribs, a small amount of okra, a good size mac and cheese and a roll. The portion sizes can be better but other then that the taste was great and the food was really well seasoned. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a good bbq place to eat at, just be sure to keep in mind that the portions are small.Kid-friendliness: They have great kids meal options.

One week ordered a 2 meat plate decent portion next week 3 meat look like a kid plate !! Help me understand

Decent BBQ, like Dickeys usually is; not very smoky and nothing to write home about, but it will fill the stomach. Very helpful employees.

Had a good flavor, but we ordered bbq baked potatoes, and they were cold, everything about it was cold. Asked for extra butter, and it never melted until we microwaved it. We are 3.6 miles from the restaurant and we shouldn't of had to microwave it.

I ordered the BBQ chip beef sandwich yesterday and the bun was so smashed like a potato chip, They must have new owners because he smashed my bun down to a quarter is unreal.
