Cafe Zanzibar - Central Saanich

Such a quaint lovely place! I used to come here years ago still have pics from New Years Eve 2000! We had excellent food attentive service. Only bummer was getting stung x2 outside fm wasps having to move everything inside. Nobody's fault they def tried to deal w them let us know in advance just would've been nice to be offered s/t as an anti ouch!! compensation split a dessert orveven an ice pack. ???

What a fantastic hidden gem. Enjoyed a very tasty breakfast here. All the food we saw come out of the kitchen looked delish. Will definitely be back to try dinner as the menu has so much to choose from. You can tell the pride of ownership comes through in the food. Very eclectic restaurant, appears to have African influences. The place from outside looked tiny but it has a large seating capacity which filled up quickly but the service was not affected.

The food was fantastic! Lots of flavour and cooked perfectly. The server was nice and the atmosphere was very cool. I very much recommend the pita and hummus, they were absolutely delicious.

Ya the staff move at their own pace but if you’re looking for a quick lunch try McDonalds. This place was excellent. Great Eggs Benny.

Lovey location, the food was the delicious and the service was great.There are very limited options for vegetarians, but the sunflower burger is a great option. On recommendation of out server Carlos we had the cheesecake, and it delicious (very rich and flavorful)
