Feedback gevenBrisa is one of three restaurants located at Costabella Tropical Beach Resort and specializes in local cuisine. Although we had never tried Filipino food before, we carefully studied the menu before ordering sambal fish, tamarind guava glazed pork ribs, and steamed rice. The fish was a delight, featuring boneless fillets grilled with sambal sauce and served with a mango and jicama salsa. The pork ribs were cooked to perfection in a rich guava and tamarind sauce. With a bottle of Argentine Osado Shiraz and a fruit shake, our bill came out to just over PHP 2,000. The service was professional and friendly.
The Sambal Fish was a pleasant surprise, featuring boneless fillets coated in sambal velek and grilled to perfection. It was served with a mango and jicama salsa that added a refreshing touch to the dish. The Tamarind Guava Glazed Pork Ribs were also a hit, featuring tender ribs coated in a sweet guava and tangy tamarind sauce, and grilled to perfection. To complement our meal, we opted for a bottle of Argentine Osado Shiraz and a fruit shake. The total bill came to just over PhP 2,000, which we felt was reasonable for the quality of the food and service we received. The staff at Brisa were professional and friendly, adding to the overall dining experience.
