Centralia House

The restaurant has an old-world charm with its beautiful antique decor. The food is excellent, and the service is fantastic. There was also a pianist playing while we dined, which added to the lovely atmosphere. I highly recommend this place!

I took the Amtrak up with a large group, and we had a fantastic experience. Our waitress did an excellent job serving us, and the atmosphere was wonderful. The piano player added to the enjoyment of our visit. Overall, it's definitely a place where we would come back. Thank you for the great experience!

We absolutely adore the Centralia House! Their steaks are among the finest in Southern Illinois. Jim Kirchoff playing the piano is always a delightful experience! For a unique twist, consider taking the train from Carbondale or other nearby towns. Enjoy an evening filled with delicious food, lovely music, and a touch of history!

Good food, good waiting staff Beautiful selection of something else locally. Our food was good, fast served and not real complaints.
