Penns Cave was amazing. We did not only the cave, but the wild park and we had nothing short of an amazing time. The park staff were all very nice as the tour guides. They let you wear masks that were on everything.
It was a nice cave tour, but it would have been a much better experience if you understood what the guide said. I don't know if it has anything to do with its accent or something. On the contrary, the female animal guide was very articulated and funny. There are no exotic animals, but they are all in Pennsylvania like Elch, Deer, Fox, Wolves, Bear and etc. A good supplement would be a good old Pennsylvanian wooden rattle or copper head snakes.
Fantastic and not expensive place for a family weekend. The underground boat trip through the mysterious and fairytale cave works on fantasy and brings unforgettable impressions. This trip takes about 40 minutes and is worth each of 20 for an adult ticket! They say that, regardless of the months during the year, within the cave is still 52’F. In addition to cave, visitors can participate in treasure hunt precious stone panning for children... , and “froh activity for young and old alike, Prospector Pete’s Miners Maze has a 4800 square meter labyrinth, with many turns and turns, a view tower and four checkpoint stations” ... This last attraction, although it seems simple, is not the easiest ...
Amazing place to spend the day with the family. There is a lot to take here, so plan at least 4 hours here. Wildlife tours take about an hour and a half by bus, the visitor on a tour through the harvest, where most animals roam freely in a pastoral environment. Bison, Whitetail-Deer, Elch and Longhorn cattle can be found to strip the fields. The wolves are enclosed in a large wooded area. Füchse, bears, mountain lions and Bobcats have smaller enclosures towards the end of the tour. The gift shop and ticket stand area is well organized and clean, offers a beautiful meeting place between activities. The cave tour is run by boat, as the limestone cave is fed in spring the main waters of Penn’s Creek) refreshingly cool during the hot summer months, it offers a beautiful charm from the heat. Cool cave formations and an illuminated tour with experienced guides complete a great journey here. Only negative at our visit was the café that we felt for what was served and slow service, as extremely expensive, but that I would recommend to bring the family here for a nice afternoon of activities.
