Wish they had a bit of a better balance between the mild (which is not spicy at all) and the medium (that is quite hot). The butter chicken, chicken tikka masala and kormas (chicken and lamb) are all great. We also enjoyed the chicken palak as a milder option. Love that they allow you to bring your own wine (no corkage) as they do not have a liqour licence. It is a take-away spot, so the service is at best ok, and the ambiance a bit lacking. But a great inexpensive option if you are in the mood for Indian food. Try ordering a few different dishes and sharing around the table as the portions are big enough to share as well.
We have never tried any Indian restaurant but wanted something different. Decided to get a takeaway from The Royal India Express and weren’t disappointed. I had the chicken roti and it was very tasty and very filling! The only aspect I didn’t like was the very large pieces of onion, although not a train smash. Will be back to try the other options on the menu.<br/ <br/ Also tried their butter chicken and garlic naan! Delicious! The mild is sweet and spicy at the same time! Big portion.
The curry is really good. My favorite is the Chicken Tikka Masala. Portion sizes are generous and the naan bread is always fresh. Staff is super friendly and the service has been great every time.
Die royal India one of the finest Indian restaurant in Centurion. I would recommend for an authentic Indian food. I ordered as per my waiter's recommendations Lamb bu@nna gosht with garlic naan. And I must say it is one of my fav now. It was that much busy that staff forgot to switch on TV but never mind. But next Liverpool vs Crystal city I will watch there with my fav kos. Geen Bathroom Never mind. hou daarvan
This should be classed as an upmarket tale away. It looks stunning for the size. Loads of people walk in for take always I was the only dinner. Staff management friendy. NOT LICENCED get wine at woolies. <br <br Now to the food, The startets of Samosas was underwhelming, and they didn't want to give a variety. I cannot help but to think they felt they gad to add a starter. <br <br I had butter chicken as mains and as a previous reviewer posted its of the best in pretoria! The butter naan fantastic! I will make this place as my new local Indian takeaway snd even order a few dishes to entertain. Dont miss out! <br <br As for service well i was the wierd guy sitting in the corner, on his ipad. its a take away place with a few tables dont treat it more than that!
