Lowenwirt - Cermes

My husband and I wanted to have a proper warm and satisfying meal after a very intense hike in Merano. We looked on Trip Advisor and settled for the Löwenwirt. Immediately after stepping in, we smelled the sweet smell of meat roasting over fire and there it was was!!! An open fire pit with chicken and ribs on spits slowly rotating over the fire. We could hear meat juice dripping into the flame. We ordered half a chicken, the ribs, sauerkraut and roast potatoes. Everything tasted amazing. I didn't expect to have one of the best German meals of my life in Italy, but there it was. The meal was exceptionally affordable for the quality and we will definitely come here again whenever we go hiking in the area.

Wir haben dort gegessen. die Portionen waren reichlich und gut bürgerlich. die Umgebung im Garten brauchte eine kleine Renovierung. am Dach waren noch die Rebfäden von mindestens letztem Jahr. die bessere Zeiten erlebt hat.
