Osteria Da Buraccio - CERRETO D'ESI

We stopped in Cerrio d'esi for the weekly market, and came across Osteria da Buraccio. We had lunch there today, and it was one of the best meals we've had in Italy. The restaurant was lovely, and the cuisine was very refined, with perfectly sized portions. This is a trained chef working with the freshest ingredients. The owners were friendly and helpful. We own a house in Le Marche in a town not too far away, and this is one of the best restaurants we've found. My husband is a NYC chef of 30 years, and he stopped in the kitchen after our lunch to thank the chef. The town of Cerrreto d'Esi is beautiful too. An after-lunch stroll is highly recommended and the weekly outdoor market on Tuesdays is also a must-see.

We were surprised by the good food! We booked a table because of the food reviews. When we arrived it was still closed and looked not very inviting. Then we had a lovely table on the terrace at the back. Very nice people and very good food! We highly recommend! Arrivederci!

By chance in Cerreto d'Esi we discovered this restaurant. It serves local food, and the tagliatelle with mushrooms and trufffles were really excellent. The owner personally greets his customers, and the atmosphere is friendly. We also had some excellent wine of the house. If you go to Cerreto don't miss this small restaurant.

Incredible food, incredible service, incredible atmosphere. One of the best restaurants I've been to in Italy. Exceptional menu with amazing flavours! A speck and lavender risotto was one of the many highlights! And during dinner the very cool music echoing out into the courtyard made it an unforgettable experience.
