Rubio's Coastal Grill - Cerritos

Ok, Tuesday's the fish tacos are 2.29 instead of 5.29 and they're truly the best tacos we've ever had. If my family wasn't so large, we'd go other nights of the week.

Great food. Reasonably priced. Friendly staff who always have my order correct and ready when I arrive to pick up my online order.

So the food's ok I got the classic shrimp burrito it had some weird crunchy stuff inside of it which I don't think should have been there! The beans had no flavor the service was fine and it's a bit pricey for two adults and a kid your spending about 40 bucks! So I would say it's mediocre at best!

I came in here and ordered a lobster bowl for almost 15 bucks. I tossed everything together and ouch! The rice was crunchy every bite had me wondering if I'd cause a cavity or need a dentist to remove them from the surface of my teeth. I had an appointment to get my dog groomed so I didn't have time to bring it to management's attention.

Came back months later and ordered the Baja Chicken Salad with avocado. This time I really liked it. The flavor was super great. Everything fresh too. Size was ok and the amount of protein was fair. Ordered a chopped salad with natural chicken protein $10.49+ . If you’re looking for a low calorie salad option , I think this is the place. Small amount of cabbage, lettuce and a few chops of chicken. There are better options around for a salad.
