La Buona Terra Agriturismo Biologico

Abbiamo prenotato in questo meraviglioso agriturismo per un pranzo di famiglia. Scelta di 2 menù rosso carne)e verde vegetariano). Cibo a km zero e di ottima qualità! Super Consigliato, ritorneremo senza ombra di dubbio!

Il posto è stato una grande sorpresa! La struttura è immersa nel verde curato e rigoglioso. Non ho potuto visitarlo bene per motivi di tempo ma un' altra volta lo farò. Abbiamo mangiato all' interno, in una sala rustica e ampia. C'era molta gente ma non c'erano rumori fastidiosi. Abbiamo ordinato 2 menù vegani, uno vegetariano e uno rosso. Tutto ottimo. Ke porzioni non esagerate ci hanno aiutato ad gustare tutto il menù, ricco di varietà. I piatti erano ben presentati. Abbiamo anche bevuto un buon vino Merlot. I camerieri e i padroni di casa molto gentili e disponibili. Non ci è mai mancato il pane a tavola. I tempi corretti nonostante i molti tavoli da servire. Grande disponibilità e accoglienza anche per i cani degli ospiti. Buono il rapporto qualità-prezzo vista la grande qualità della materia prima. Ci tornerò senz' altro e lo consiglio vivamente.

Our stay in August 2015 was the fourth and I expect will be followed by a fifth. The place is a mixture: a few houses/apartments for hire, space to park campers, a restaurant that serves an unending stream of weddings, and a demonstration farm where busloads of kindergarten children come to look at farm animals (about ten different species, from horses down to hens) and learn to bake bread. The food is organic and good, the place is quiet and well kept, it's close enough to Venice/Verona/Padua for a day trip, and there's a pool and 1½ playground(s) so the children can wake up early and let us parents sleep a little longer.

We were in September for 10 days on vacation at La Buona Terra. We had booked the two story house „Rondinella“. The house is located a little further back in the yard, which was a problem for us, because the baby monitor was not strong enough to reach the dining room. Luckily, the house „Casetta Verde“ was free and we could move into that house. „Casetta Verde“ is much better located (near the main building and swimming pool and everything is on one level, which was much safer and more practical for us with a 1 year old baby. Both houses had a separate bedroom with up to three beds. Culinary wise we were pampered. We ate almost every day in the agriturismo for lunch and dinner and the food was fantastic homemade food. Most of the food is local or even from the farm itself such as the eggs or the absolutely yummi prosciutto or homemade bread, jam or pasta. For our daughter they prepared something separatly if she wasn’t able to eat the food we had (extra pasta or soup, less spicy etc. . We were not keen on going to eat out for dinner due to our little baby. Thanks to the babyphone and the house which was close enough to the dining room, my boyfriend and I were able to enjoy wonderful evenings just the two of us while our daughter was sleeping. The waiters, especially Marco, was always very cheerful and even though he does not speak any other language than Italian, he is able to communicate with all guests in his own way (usually with much kindness and laughter . It was very quiet at La Buona Terra during our stay. Most of the guests stayed only one or two days either for the weekend or on their journey through Italy with the camper. For us it was perfect, because we almost had the agriturismo just for us and were still not alone in the dining room. In high season it probably has more visitors. The farm with animals (horses, chickens, peacocks, pigs, cows, rabbits, geese, etc. was a great experience for our daughter. Every evening before she had to go to bed we went on a little tour to say good night to all the animals and she loved it! La Buena Terra is very well located for exploring beautiful towns in the area such as Padua, Vicenza, Verona, Venice and many more. However, a car is essential. The hospitality of the family that runs the farm was warm and accommodating, the longer we stayed the better. They gave us great advices on excursions, connected us with a winemaker for a wine tasting or gave us great restaurant recommendations. La Buena Terra seems to have a good reputation in the area as there were wedding and birthday celebrations with up to 100 guests. The only negative point. There were an incredible number of mosquitoes. We recommend to wear socks and long pants when dusk sets in.

We stayed at La Buona Terra for a week in August. The best aspects were the dinner, the comfort of the rooms, the environment with animals and nature, and the closeness to sites in the Veneto region. The not-so-hot elements were the fact that it was nearly 100 degrees everyday and the mosquitoes and flies invaded our meal times and outside activities. We were a large party of 7 adults and 2 kids, and we stayed in four rooms on the Buona Terre property. The rooms were very comfortable though the air conditioning did little to combat the heat. The rooms and campground were all reserved but it didn't feel crowded. The staff held Italian language classes, a gnocchi making class, tractor ride, horse back riding, and a guided bike ride. We traveled by car to Venice, Padua, Vicenza, and the surrounding area. To get to Venice it was a combo car, train, water bus that was pretty draining. Overall, a great vacation getaway from the city!
