Keiths Seafood - Chalmette

I ordered the 12-inch soft bowl, expecting the usual size, but I was blown away by how HUGE it was! And it tasted amazing. I think I’ve found a new favorite that I’ll cherish forever!

Food was excellent then the atmosphere great there were two ladies in the front with great music. Plates were so stuff, couldn't close the lid. I am still wonder the lady got her Kangol.

I ordered the rubber bear and the chicken wing plate to go, and it was just average. The gum was quite good, but I prefer it a bit darker. There was something about the seasoning on the chicken that didn’t sit well with me. I’m definitely going to give the fried and boiled seafood another try!

I ordered a grilled shrimp sandwich that was dressed nicely, along with a small order of fries and a refreshing mango drink. The total came to $13. The sandwich was piled high with about 50 shrimp, perfectly grilled. It was a bit much to eat in one go! I forgot to take a photo before I dove into the sandwich, but I’ve included a picture of the shrimp that was left over after I finished; you can see it’s about the same size as the container, which shows just how generous the portion was. Just a heads up—if you’re sensitive to MSG, be aware that they do use it in their cooking. Overall, I had a great experience and would certainly recommend it!

Shrimp Poboy was delicious and plentiful. Bread was soft. My guy had a huge turkey neck he thought was wonderful.
