Gasthutte Zoll Huus - Cham

Located near Nurenberg, just at the old wooden bridge, the restaurant has a nice and typical Swiss interior with many special design elements as well a big terrace where one can relax and enjoy Swiss classical cuisine. We stopped over during lunch period, and ordered...Swiss roesti with ham, melted cheese and a fried egg on top, The dish is accompanied by a choice of salad or soup. We took the salad. Both dishes were promptly served. The roesti is really good and special. A nice stop for anyone who likes to bike, walk or comes by car. Recommended

This is a fabulous place for a nice long Sunday brunch, especially when the weather is nice and you can sit outside. The restaurant is family friendly and located along a nice mountain biking route, so it's handy for a break on your bike trip....The food is excellent and offers great variety for all tastes, especially when you have a sweet tooth (lots of different home made cakes). The service ranges from really terrible to just unfriendly and they won't even make an attempt to understand English, so don't expect too much in that regard. It really is a pity. If they could just make us feel a little bit less bad for bothering them with our presence, we would probably go there every week.
