Shack Attakk - Chambly

Refined fast-food restaurant. I've been there often. You can enjoy a vegan poutine and the "Hors Piste" hamburger, among other things. Most of the time, the meals were labeled "gluten-free." Unfortunately, there was an error with my order once, and I encountered an uninformed cashier on two occasions.

We visited this restaurant while in Chambly and had a wonderful experience. The staff was very knowledgeable and attentive. They offer poutine with vegan gravy, which is also gluten-free, and the fries are cooked in a separate fryer. They provide gluten-free buns for the burgers, which were really tasty! I mistakenly ordered a poutine that came with onion rings (I missed that translation on the menu), but the employee noticed my error and kindly explained that the onion rings weren't gluten-free. We felt secure having our meal there and didn't experience any issues afterward.

This restaurant is a little gem for my husband, who is celiac. Can you imagine that this establishment has a "celiac" button on their cash register? What a charming touch! You can order burgers without the bun or with gluten-free bread. The poutine sauce is gluten-free, and they have a dedicated fryer. Unfortunately, we didn't explore other menu options.

The service was really disappointing. There was a lack of respect; not even a simple hello. The server stayed seated on her phone the entire time, and the tables were not cleaned properly. Overall, it was quite mediocre.
