Destihl Brew Works - Champaign

This was our first visit, and we were thoroughly impressed! The service was outstanding, and they even let you sample any beer before committing to a full glass. The food was fresh, served hot, and arrived quickly, despite the restaurant being busy. The desserts are simply fantastic! If you enjoy four-layer chocolate cake or four-layer carrot cake, I highly recommend sharing with a friend!

We absolutely loved this place during our visit to Champaign that we decided to return for brunch on our last day! They offered 4oz pours, allowing us to sample various beers. The little details were delightful, like the local cream served for the coffee – it was so good that I just wanted to drink it straight!

The menu was incredibly diverse, offering something for everyone to enjoy. The cheese curds had one of the lightest batters I’ve ever tasted and were absolutely delightful. The pizza featured a thin crust and was packed with flavor. The Thai-inspired fried chicken was one of the best dishes I’ve had in a long time—the chicken skin was perfectly crispy, and the sauce had just the right amount of spice. Our waiter, Curtis, was excellent.

Two. Editing. Red yeast and deadhead jam were both great. Fennel Sausage and Pfefferoni Pizza was perhaps the best I ever had. Jumbalaya was legit. The heat was real. Beer was great. Favorite was the imperial joke. Mike was my server, super brilliant. Everything came out very fast. No problem for a homeless girl walking around soliciting sandwiches and a few geezers trying to steal my table while I was in the toilet (full beer still on the table). LOL. Anyway, I definitely come back!

I had a Hefeweizen and there Stuffed Pasta. The beer was good, not great, but I am comparing it to those in Germany. With the pasta, at first I was thinking I made a mistake, but the flavor of it was exceptional. The service at the bar was exceptional.
