The free chips and salsa appetizer was fresh and warm, salsa was amazing. What I ordered was exactly what I got, it tasted fresh qnd couldn't have been happier with it. Their in house special cheese sauce was absolutely as good as I remember it being lasttime! A special thank you to my waiter who heard me say I love cheese and made sure the cook didn't hold back! I appreciatelittle things like that. Amazing place to eat if you haven't been there before!
Very good meal with decent portion sizes. Our friend introduced us to this restaurant while we were in the area and we weren't disappointed to say the least! It was quiet on a Sunday evening, but the staff was friendly and the food was fresh. If we'reback in the area, we wouldn't hesitate to eat here again.
I?ve eaten at the El Toro restaurants in Champaign County for years and have gradually seen a decline in all of them. This particular location *had* maintained quality and customer service until recently. At lunch with friends today, I had the worstmeal I have ever been served anywhere. Their signature El Toro nachos were bland and covered in a large quantity of shreddedlettuce. When I complained, they removed the huge pile of lettuce I placed on a napkin and took $1 off my bill, so it was stillover $14. I nibbled at my plate, but it was truly disgusting. My friends and I have met here regularly for years, but I have noplans to *ever* go back. And I encourage you to find another place to eat, too.
Always a winning night when we eat here. Filling portions, great taste and fast service. One of our dinner visits.
