Food taste is okay. But this place is definitely overpriced when compared to other similar places, both taste and portion size wise.
I never had anything other than their lunch special. It used to be 5.99 but now it’s 6.99 which is still a pretty good deal. It can easily be enough food for two meals if you don’t eat much. There are plenty of options from chicken to beef to eggplant to eggs. You can choose between fried rice, noodles, and white rice. Usually I go for half fried rice and half noodles. Then I follow it up with the spicy young chicken and the Kung pao chicken. Mayo tofu is also decent but really oily. Eggplant was meh. Eggs were soft and creamy. Dine in is an option and there are plenty of tables with an included upstairs seating area. The line is sometimes atrocious though during peak lunch times. But the wait is usually no longer than 10-15 mins as there’s a bunch of staff scooping up the food. Mandarin is also preferred here but English is alright. You might have a hard time understanding them
I could have had lunch here everyday for 5 years of grad school and still not get bored! Excellent food, unbeatable price. The best deal on green street!!
Price is good and they gave you a lot of food for 7 dollars
