We were greeted by a waiter who seemed a bit rough around the edges. We ordered our first course (mussels) and drinks— I opted for a grapefruit martini that turned out too sweet for my liking (my bad for not asking about its sweetness). I quickly switched to a red wine, which was fine. As for the mussels, they were underwhelming and I've definitely made better at home, so I’d rate that course a mere 3 stars. The accompanying bread and butter could also use improvement; warming the bread and adding a sprinkle of flake salt to the butter isn't a difficult upgrade. Next, we ordered salads and our main courses. I was advised against the trout since it “wasn’t very good.” Not the kind of feedback I wanted, but I appreciated the honesty, so I chose something else instead. I went for the “crispy” chicken, which was served with carrots and greens. The waiter mentioned the greens and asked if I liked collard greens, as if he assumed I wouldn’t like them just because they were listed on the menu. My partner ordered the scallops. The salads were acceptable, but honestly, the bagged Caesar salad mixes you can find at any local grocery store are far better, so don’t waste your time unless you’re really craving a mediocre salad. My “crispy” chicken arrived, but using the term “crispy” is quite a stretch. There was nothing crispy about it. The ends were overcooked, and it was served in a bowl (a poor plating choice, in my opinion). The carrots were nearly raw and lacked flavor or seasoning, and as for the greens, while they were cooked, they were far from impressive.

I visited for the first time and was impressed by the beautiful ambiance. The food was outstanding, and the service was exceptional!

Absolutely divine! The atmosphere is incredibly inviting. Helen's is located in the hills of Seven Springs—a true winter wonderland! This restaurant is definitely worth the visit. The staff was fantastic! Emily, Chris, and Hunter did a remarkable job of keeping the evening flowing at a perfect balance of promptness and relaxation!

We celebrated our 50th anniversary with a special dinner. It was excellent and staff went out of their way to make it special. The pinao player played many requests. Food was very good.

The early patio seating worked out well. Perfect ambience, very good food with superb presentations. Christopher was great, made a special event even better.
