Asian Corner Cafe - Chandler

I stumbled upon this restaurant while working in Chandler and it turned out to be the best Asian food I've had in Arizona. I hope they are considering expanding, if they haven't already. I ordered the corner house chicken (contains peanuts so be cautious if you have allergies) and Tempura shrimp. My husband tried the Mongolian beef and loved it. There is ample parking right outside, with a full lot shared with other stores.

The food at this restaurant was disappointing. The fresh-brewed iced tea had an unusual taste and the dishes were not served hot. The egg roll was lukewarm and the sweet and sour chicken was overly sour. The orange chicken lacked flavor and both dishes had tough meat. Additionally, the price of the meal was higher than similar Chinese restaurants we have been to for lunch. The service was also lacking, with no follow-up during the meal. We will be taking our lunch business elsewhere.

We have been loyal customers of Asian Corner since they first opened, despite the strange and moody man who appears to be in charge. However, recently we have been disappointed with the quality of their dishes. The beef entree was chewy and full of gristle, while the Pad Thai lacked flavor and vegetables, with not a single scallion in sight. The sauces that used to accompany our favorite dishes are also missing. Unfortunately, it seems that the restaurant has taken a turn for the worse.

Asian corner always serves fresh vegetables and meats. On ordering I never have any problems with the customer service person understanding me. They always get my order right. And, they give me a time to pick it up which is pretty accurate anywhere from 15 to 30 minutes depending on how business is. Parking is always available for easy pickup. The food that Asian corner provides are for those who like authentic Chinese food.

This is our favorite go to local restaurant! We eat there around once a week. It is small and family owned. Benny is the server every time we have been there. He hardworking and is excellent. He always remembers our order and that we argue over whether we are sharing one order of crab puffs or getting two. We feel like Norm on Cheers when we walk in.Be a little patient because Benny is the only server and there is one cook in back, but it it is worth the small wait. We frequently get hello waves from the cook through the window also. Our food is always yummy, always fresh, with generous portions so we have a leftover meal the next day too. Their pictures in one of the reviews and that they have rotating on the screen in the restaurant are their actual food cooked there and that is what it looks like when it comes out. My step son has celiac and they also have great gluten free options for him that he enjoys.This little place is well worth stopping in to try, just don't take our table! Tell Benny we sent you. ;
