El Pollo Loco - Chandler

I don't usually write reviews but I was really happy with the service and food at el Pollo Loco. The staff was really patient in helping me deod3 what to order. They were quick and the food was great!

I had a long day at work on July 13, 2023 and was too tired to cook dinner for my family. I decided to get some chicken from El Pollo Loco. Despite wanting to go inside the restaurant, I had food in the car that would spoil, so I went through the drive-thru instead. I didn't check my order before leaving and ended up with 8 burnt pieces of chicken. My family was disappointed after waiting for dinner. I usually don't complain, but this time I had to call and speak to the employee. She apologized and offered to replace the chicken next time. However, I won't be returning to El Pollo Loco after this experience.

This place never puts any chicken on their menu items of any kind yet they always have an abundance of chickens being rosted. The employees take it home with them at the end of the day? The chicken quesadilla didn’t have any chicken and the chicken nachos had no chicken. I have gone to other Pollo Loco locations and the chicken serving is decent but this location does not give a decent or if any chicken at all. I hope the manager and employees get talked to and supervise the food being sold. I will give this place another chance and will provide pictures for proof all they give is scraps of chicken.

The food and service were excellent, but the dining area was not clean.

Way too expensive for what you DON'T get. The person asked if we wanted salsa. Come to find out there wasn't even any tortillas included in a $20 meal. Save your money and go someplace else.
