Extremely helpful staff! Explained everything and was able to make half portions so that we could share several dishes. The stuffed squash blossoms are the best! We're coming back! Thank you.

I can describe this restaurant in the city centre of Chania as a large homemade restaurant. The restaurant, which is usually preferred by locals, has a very wide menu. While some dishes come as standard every day, some are made exclusively for this day. Meals are served directly at your choice in the restaurant, which has an open kitchen. If you are foreigners, they help by explaining the dishes we see in the pots to you. You also have a menu that you can find on your table for the dishes they prepare every day. We liked the restaurant that we went to Chania on the first day and became familiar with the Cretan cuisine. It was our only choice for lunch during our days in Chania. The restaurant you can see on the photos has tables both inside and outside. The staff was always friendly, polite and professional. The prices were very reasonable and the portions were hearty. After each meal they offered Desserts that we didn't know what it was, but that we liked to taste. Of course there were also Raki contracts. We liked every dish we ate, but our favorite dish was chestnuts, soots and mushrooms, whose name we cannot remember. If you see it in the menu, try it safely.

We made it here three times in our 3 weeks in Chania and blown away every time. Daily specials on the front, very friendly staff, great location made this come back to a favorite. We enjoyed mainly roast pork, filled zucchini, zucchini cakes, sausages and leek, mushrooms and ESPECIALLY the Panna Cotta Desert! We wish we had more days to return to this amazing place.

Really surprised by this place, a very inconceivable canteen looking place, but not from the food is beautiful and fresh (because its way it is gone)! A really nice lunch with friendly staff (best English we have heard in Crete) would recommend fish soup and pig bell (educated). Even the free desert was great! Super cheap for what we have

Friendly and very welcoming staff. It’s a different concept than other restaurants. The ambiance is very warm, like you’re in a living room. The kitchen is open and the food is directly presented to you. The prices are very reasonable for what you get. In short, ja we had a proper lunch including great service for an absolutely fair price.
