Seashore - Channel-Port aux Basques

With perfect seaside setting in charming little town of Margaree, fresh and delicious food, and well mannered kind staff, this place has everything you need. There were 6 pan fried cods on our table and almost everyone finisher theirs! Apparently their chowder is out of this world so that's next on my Wishlist, well, if I find myself in this remote location.

This place is amazing; it was our first trip here. We came for the all you can day breakfast buffet which only happens on Sunday mornings. They offer delicious eggs and bacon, and some scrumptious fish cakes. Pro tip; the brunches on Sunday morning fill up quickly, brunch starts at 10am, however restaurant opens at 09:30 come early and secure yourself a table for the heavily packed Sunday brunch!

Excellent spot to stop over and have dinner before boarding the Ferry at Port Aux Basques (5 min drive away). Be warned Huge portions! Cod tongues, the mussels, and their fries were particularly tasty. Good service, relaxed atmosphere.

We were visiting Port Aux Basques and asked the local people where to have a nice lunch. Their answer was The Seafood Reataurant in Margaree a 7 km drive from Port Aux Basques.
