It was a locally run shop with very friendly people. Food came out quickly and everything was fantastic. It was made by scratch and tasted great. I got the sopa de res. Having a Colombian wife I'm used to ordering the caldo de res. The difference is the number of ribs in the soup. This thing was packed with beef ribs. The broth was top notch with big chucks of carrots and potatoes and good portions of green onions and cilantro. It honestly, was too much for me and I left some behind. If I get a chance to go back, I'll have to try the chicken soup. The pulposa was great also.
We love this place for their authentic El Salvadorian food. Place is a hole in the wall but that's where you find the best food in our opinion. It's always packed and busy. Their Papusa's are to die for. They are significantly bigger in size and the filling is packed with goodness. Their tacos are another great thing to try. Very flavorful and priced decently. We try not to dine there as it's loud and they don't have much space anyway. Their wait staff is cordial but bit busy during peak hours which is expected. We typically order a take out and pick it up in 30 mins. they have messed up couple times but are quick to give a refund or credit towards the next visit. Their fried fish is another delicacy that we enjoy. The fish is large and is fried to perfection. It's salted on the high side but goes well with the rice and veggies. We love this place for their food and would highly recommend anyone who wants to try authentic Salvadorian food. Prices are decent so Go give it a try. You will not be disappointed !!!
Amazing food and taste is amazing !!! I usually only like Puerto Rican, Dominican Cuban Spanish food but this place has amazing food !!! The portions are so generous and the staff is very nice . Nice to find a great Latin place to eat even way out in the sticks .
The food was horrible, we got tacos and pupusas. The pupusas had a lot of masa so much that half of the pupusas was a tortilla. All corn and no meat, the tacos were beyond burnt. The meat looked like it was a shoe, had no flavor and even though we asked for cilantro we had nothing. The food overall was horrible, if you know what real tacos and pupusas are stay away.
We have been buying pupusas from this place for a while now. The quality has been better before but what we got today was not satisfactory. In addition to that they are pricing pupusas for $4.50 each. I don't know how they justify that cost with the quality so low. Not coming back again.
