Holiday Inn Chantilly-dulles Expo (arpt) An Ihg

The ONLY thing this hotel has going for it is the location. The rooms are dirty, old, and stink. They are not kept up with (ripped curtains, torn carpet, dust along all floorboards, rust in shower stalls, etc. The customer service rep at the desk was fine to check in but when I asked about the park and ride (which was advertised on the website) she was rude and got even worse when I showed her how gross my shower was. Unfortunately my son was already asleep when I noticed the shower so we had to stay there. I will NEVER spend the night here nor recommend it to anyone. They clearly just want to make and don’t care about the people staying in their hotel.We had stayed here once before and I thought it was a little sketchy then, but this experience was one of the worst I’ve ever had, and I travel a lot. (I’ve been in 12+ hotels in the last two months alone.)Rooms: Rooms were dirty and not kept up well at all. Wouldn’t shower in it because the shower was so gross. Rooms were not kept clean or taken care of.Noteworthy details: Staff was fine checking in but was incredibly rude upon bringing up my concerns about the dirtiness of the room and park and ride which was, at the time, advertised on their website.

1st off the pictures they have posted are not from here at all. The picture of the pool is a lie, the view is of Walmart but is also closed they say for the season for renovations we stayed 10 days and not 1 time did anyone work on it. No coffee you have to ask the desk for coffee, no breakfast, no microwave and the lil refrigerator doesn’t work at all. The bath tub drips nonstop. We put the sign on the door for no cleaning and they just open the door don’t knock at all just open it, scared my daughter. This place is by far the worst I’ve ever stayed at, my husband travels for work so we go to a lot of hostels I would never stay here again!!! The restaurant that’s attached is just as bad, we stood for 20 minutes to be seated and there was only one person in there eating so not sure on the wait. When we got seated then we were handed to paper menus for 5 people and not much to offer at all. Tables sticky and floors we decided to just leave.

Fantastic service from the lady working the evenings at the desk! She helped me with several things, including offering a shuttle so that we didn't have to drive. Very clean, comfortable hotel near anything that we needed...attractions, stores, restaurants. We would stay here again!

Decent place overall. Stayed one night whilst driving north on 15. It's an older property but upkept well. There is a lot of wood in the lobby. The room was in good shape, no torn and ratty carpet like you might see sometimes. Check-in took less than a minute, but I don't know if that's a result of being an IHG member. I didn't check out all the amenities, so this is bared solely on the common areas, overall appearance, check-in, and room. There is an attached restaurant, but also some others within walking distance and a microbrewery not too far away.

Room was average. However our room had a shower and the floor of the shower was super slippery. There were no grab bars and had to put a towel down to prevent slipping.
