Ordered Szechuan beef, General 's chicken, and Cashew chicken for mains, steamed and fried dumplings, and an order of crab rangoon for appetizers. The Cashew chicken tasted like it came out of a can and the crab rangoon were very small, but the other food was good. The atmosphere should be zero stars because it is a carry-out-only restaurant. There 's a sign at the front door saying they do this because they can 't find staff , but what restaurant can 't find any employees unless they are unwilling to pay said employees a living wage?Maybe the worst part of it is the Chinese lady with broken English who works the order desk and brings food out expects a tip. The register defaulted to 15%, 20%, and 30% tip options, but why? She put the order in and handed me the bag with food when ready. There was almost zero service and absolutely no reason to tip her for doing the bare minimum. Given her age, she 's probably one of the owners and doesn 't need tips anyway. The tip part seems like a scam given that there are no servers and no service to speak of.
Service is great. I always order my lunch from here and they remember me and greet me all of the time. Food has always been good to me from here.
Solid spot for takeout. The egg drop soup is great and the portions are healthy.
Over priced,, small portions, no flavor and no rest room.
Food was really good and the hostess name Hong was very friendly and helpful. You get a lot because the prices are actually cheap but a 5 dollar after tax is what's gonna stretch out your pockets a bit. I'm from the DMV and Chinese food in my city was a lot cheaper but in Charlotte I couldn't eat out everyday at all especially at places like this lol ? overall, I had a good eating experience and maybe would eat here again a second time after that no more since I'm only going to be in town for 3 more weeks... afterwards, I'll be in another city moving to a new crib in a different area code.
