My experience at this restaurant during restaurant week was fantastic. The service was excellent and the food was delicious. Del Frisco's is sometimes forgotten in favor of trendier steakhouses in CLT, but it never disappoints. From the delicious rolls to the wedge salad and perfectly cooked steaks, everything was amazing. I am already looking forward to returning.
Our experience at this restaurant was always incredible! We had a girl's night out during Restaurant Week and we were very pleased that we did. The food was superb, Kevin provided impeccable service and Buddy, the manager, checked in to make sure we were enjoying our evening. We would definitely give it a 10 out of 10 and highly recommend it. We are looking forward to going back!
Had reservations but they sat us in the bar area diapointing
We were there this past Saturday evening celebrating my birthday and took advantage of the restaurant week menu. The service was great, Thomas was our waiter, and he was very knowledgeable and attentive to us all while being a fully booked Saturday night. Our biggest complaint was the dress code. My boyfriend called the restaurant a couple days before our reservation and inquired if he could wear his cowboy hat since the dress code says no hats, or ball caps. They did say that no hats of any kind are permitted in the dining room. Which is fair, there's a dress code, but while we were there, we noticed, a number of men in the dining room wearing hats, several wearing NYY and TB Rays baseball hats. Not to mention, there were a ton of people that looked like they rolled right out of bed with what they were wearing. Shorts, running sneakers, t-shirts. If there is going to be a dress code on the website and it says it's full enforced and we also called to ask about a particular item...then management needs to enforce it. For a nice restaurant and the money that is spent in there, management should be enforcing this dress code, the very least, tell the people walking in with a hat on that they cannot wear it in the dining room. I had the wagyu meatballs to start and my boyfriend had the dynamite shrimp. Both starters were large and very good. We both had the filet cooked medium. Mine was cooked medium, however my boyfriends was cooked medium well. We then had the truffle twice baked as our side. It was pretty large, but not cooked very well. The potato was a bit hard towards the edges. We then both had the butter cake for dessert and it was very good. The bread is also delicious. My boyfriend felt their bourbon selection was a bit underwhelming. They did a great job with recognizing my birthday, so that was a nice touch. Overall, I don't think we will be back, there's plenty other steakhouses around Charlotte that is the same price point and the food is much better. We would have been more upset if it wasn't restaurant week and paid the regular price for the meal.
