BEST PHO IN TOWN! Queen of Pho is my go-to restaurant for comfort food. Whenever I'm feeling down, I can always count on them to lift my spirits. I love that it's a family-owned establishment and that the food is served quickly and piping hot! My favorite is the beef combination pho, which gives me a taste of everything. There’s truly something for everyone, including plenty of vegetarian options. The owners are warm and incredibly friendly. I wholeheartedly recommend Queen of Pho to all our friends—my fiancé and I even visited twice in one week! 10/10!

The restaurant has transitioned from being Queen of Pho to a Thai establishment that also offers pho. I tried the duck with ginger sauce, and it was excellent. My husband ordered the tom kha (I sampled it as well), but it was rather thin and resembled chicken soup with just a hint of coconut. He also had the tofu fried rice, which he described as bland and lacking flavor.

I would have been willing to overlook the size if the pho had been delicious, but unfortunately, it was very bland, and the meat tasted old. When I requested hot oil, they brought me Chinese bean paste (豆瓣酱), which is made from beans and peppers. Overall, I was very disappointed with my visit, and I don’t think I’ll be coming back.

As for the pho itself, it was the worst I’ve ever had. It didn’t taste like traditional pho at all. The broth had an odd sweet chili flavor that was quite bland. Instead of the meat cooking in the broth as it usually does, it was simply served pre-cooked. I also added veggies because the menu mentioned bok choy, but there was none—just some lettuce. The whole meal ended up being a waste of $20, and I was really disappointed. I won’t be ordering from here again.
