Feedback gevenWe needed a change in room and our request we made immediately. The service have been exceptional from the office manager Charlotte to wait staff! I would highly recommend this hotel to my friends and family!
My stay here was excellent!! Front staff was great but two people that I can say went above and beyond were Cole and Charlotte. Cole made my stay here so pleasant and made me feel special recognizing me by my name every time he seen me. I remember telling him “ wow you remembered my name I feel soo special he then said you are special Mrs Gonzales “ that made my day. Charlotte from day one has been wonderful as soon as I arrived she recognized that I was a platinum rewards member so when I asked if I could be upgraded to a suite she didn’t hesitate to upgrade to accommodate my needs she also informed me of all the perks I would receive from being a platinum member without me asking. Cole and Charlotte made sure if I needed anything not hesitate to call them that they would do their best to accommodate me. There is one more person that I would like to recognize and it’s Dawud he also was great!
Dark. I don’t see anyone or any lights or even a menu. Maybe someone at Courtyard should take leadership of this communication breakdown and remove this misleading internet noise. Apparently, there is no bistro anymore. And it was never 24 hours.
For the past 8 years, my husband and I have visited the Courtyard by Marriott in Chapel Hill for two nights once a year for my husband's medical check-ups at UNC Medical Center. We have always been very pleased with the Courtyard, with the cleanliness of the rooms and the responsiveness, friendliness of the staff. During our most recent stay, April 5-7, 2021, we were extremely impressed with John Buie, General Manager, My husband was having difficulty connecting to the internet, and called the Front Desk. Mr. Buie answered promptly, listened attentively, and gave clear instructions. When my husband, a non-techy, continued to have difficulty, Mr. Buie immediately offered to help him in person at the Front Desk. Mr. Buie's manner was extremely friendly, welcoming, patient, supportive, articulate, professional, and competent, and my husband's confusion was solved very quickly. My husband was very appreciative. I also talked with Mr. Buie a number of times during our stay, and was equally impressed and appreciative. The Marriott Courtyard in Chapel Hill's staff and guests are very fortunate to have Mr. Buie as the General Manager. I'm confident he is as supportive of his staff as he is with the guests. Mr. Buie's intellectual intelligence is impressive, and is surpassed only by his interpersonal giftedness. Congratulations, Courtyard Marriott, for having someone of Mr. Buie's multi-faceted gifts in a leadership position. We hope and trust he will receive the recognition and accolades, promotions of which he is so deserving. Thank you, Courtyard by Marriott, Chapel Hill, for Mr. Buie and his excellent staff
We had no issues with our room, other than sound on tv wouldn’t go any higher and we couldn’t hear certain channels (believe they programmed it that way). Beds were comfy, room was clean and well stocked with towels and toiletries. The bistro was priced high but the food was great. Very convenient location. Will stay there again.
