A nice, hole-in-the wall place in the University Mall. This is the Village Burger that I ordered, which the chef recommended. A single, 1/3-pound grilled beef patty topped with fresh lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, pickles, red onions, and light mayo on a toasted bun. Got it as a combo, with fresh-cooked fries and a root beer. Fantastic! Only spent about $9, and it was very filling. Will definitely come here for lunch, most days.
This place has one of the best philly Cheese Steak in the area made with delicious buns and so crispy french fries.
Excellent veggie burgers (some of the best in town) for a solid price. Lentil patties could be a little saltier/better seasoned, though. Ask for feta in your burger, and tzatziki on the side. Their sweet potato fries are off the charts and the service is friendly and quick.
Was I just hungry or was that a great meal! As I was walking to my normal restaurant in this quaint little mall in Chapel Hill, I stumbled upon this little gem. Nothing fancy, modern in design, but the food took me back to a time when fast food was not so commercialized. I did not order any extravagant meal, a regular burger and fries, nothing fancy, but the freshness and taste of the combination was a nice surprise. I do plan to return!
