Abolitionist Ale Works - Charles Town

This weekend we were in Charles Town and decided to stop and get some flights from the Abolitionist Ale Works. What a fantastic selection of beers and some apple wines. My girlfriend enjoyed about 80% of the selections we selected. Great Flavor, excellent alcohol levels and we like that they have their flights in their own glassware, which is fantastic. The place is small when you sit at a table, you must order from the bar area. But the lady who works in the bar area would check if we wanted something else. If you are in Charles Town, recommend this place!

Very cheap. Super friendly staff. I loved how easy the menu was. Not overwhelmed with decisions. The coward pizza is AMAZING. Very funny place for lunch and hanging out with friends.

Stop trying this place while on a road trip from Delaware. Really cool location in downtown Charlestown WV. They have both interior and exterior seats. The location, service and food are all excellent! The beer is average. It smells better than it tastes. That means the brewery is still a great place to visit it for other qualities. Look at it!

Lovely brewery with good sandwiches and snacks. The caprese panini was really good. I enjoyed the pils as the IPAs weren’t all my style but the tastings are nice so you can decide for yourself.
