Drinks are not included in the price. Unfortunately, there are no sugar-free desserts available for diabetics, and overall, the dessert selection is quite limited. However, it's a nice escape from the noise of the casino. Please note that the additional charge for crab legs is for two clusters, not an all-you-can-eat option.
We drove to the racetrack to check it out, and since we arrived early, we decided to try the Epic Buffet. They were offering an all-you-can-eat special on Alaskan King Crab Legs. The restaurant set a lovely atmosphere with white tablecloths, cloth napkins, and charming little decorations on the tables. Our waitress was incredibly friendly, which only added to the experience. The Alaskan Crab Legs served with butter were the best I’ve ever had! I was so satisfied that I decided to pass on the numerous dessert options. I can't wait to come back soon!
I had dinner with my husband, son, and daughter-in-law. I usually enjoy shrimp on Saturdays, though I know dinner prices can be a bit higher. Unfortunately, tonight's shrimp was disappointing. It seemed like it had been frozen after steaming and had a slimy texture. The warm shrimp were quite unappetizing. I tried to find something else, like brisket, but it was so rare that I just decided to skip it altogether. I've never been let down by a meal at the Epic before, but tonight was disappointing. I’ve noticed that some chefs are clearly better than others. The desserts were also underwhelming. Come on, Epic; you really need to pay attention to what is served and how it's cooked. Additionally, some of the plates were dirty. I hope this was just an isolated incident.
For Sunday brunch. They had an enormous selection of breakfast items from pancakes, unlike cooked to order Omelettes, sausage; Speck, potatoes. They also had a wide selection of lunch/dinner meat, including prime rib, land ham, meat leaflets, pork shed, deep fried chicken, even some very good pizza. Usually I don't have a salad bar at the buffet. They had one, although I can't comment on his quality. They had an excellent dessert bar. Each guest also had two Mimosas with the purchase. The service was also excellent. The only thing that the rating holds to 4 instead of 5 was that it was somewhat overpriced compared to comparable experiences.
