I decided to try their expresso tiny since lately I am a big fan of those but this was very much a disappointment, way to icy so the consistency and ratio was not good. Service was great and truly amazing for being quiet understaffed.
A beautiful fusion of Filipino and American decor and table items. Kudos to Jay Cinco, the owner to conceptualize a marriage of west and east culture into the dining experience. Excited to visit again.
This place is super clean and has an upscale feel to it. I also love the unique menu items they offer. The biggest disappointment was the value. I had the Chicken Karaage and some bao buns, and it was all a bit on the bland side. But there just wasn't much to it. We were still really hungry after eating here, so we stopped at grocery store on the way home and picked up a second dinner. I'd say this is the perfect place to take a date if you want to show them you have
We enjoyed the delicious tasting food. My wife is Filipino and she approves of the food here. I had the chicken adobo burrito which was great and my wife had a pork belly bowl (I forgot the name of the exact dish). Both had loads of Filipino flavors, the food was fresh and the staff were extremely friendly. The ambience is a sports bar (tvs on the wall and a bar on one side) and was clean and welcoming. We don't drink but they had a large selection of wines, beer,
Our family was headed to the airport in Charleston yesterday and looking for a place for lunch before departure. One word for this place, WOW!! The thought and creativity put into the menu and atmosphere is simply exceptional. Between all of us we had a pretty good sampling of the menu and everything was delicious. The combination of the Philippine influence with a little south tucked in delivered at every corner. Do yourself a favor and find some time to visit this establishment. BTW, Barkada is Philippine for gang; clique; informal group of friends. I am definitely a member of their clique now.PS Grace was our server and was so accommodating. Thanks Grace!
