This place was, stalls down, one of the best Thai/SE Asian food sites I've ever eaten and I've eaten around many places in the usa and in the outland. I should have known that eating after the first cure would have been amazing! the tom gha chicken/cococosoup was perfectly spiced with green tweebel, scalion and cilantro and the presentation in the metal (and lightened) bowl was new! the rolls with the peanut sauce were for to die! the wing was great! my main course of the crispy red curry duck was incredible (not pictured!) my wife had noodles drunk, very good (not pictured, the eating was too good to keep) total great experience! must visit the list in charleston!
On Saturday evening in the city to basil sung. as we showed up shortly after the opening, we sat right away. our waitress was very polite, attentive and informative (the stuffed shrimp attizer was fantastic.) our food was brought out in time and was delicious (two of us got the tampon thai and the other the cashew chicken.) all in all, definitiw a trip worth when they are in the mood for thai.
I've been over and over again and again. excellent food and love the open kitchen concept. great staff, every time I was, maybe 25 times or more. If you haven't tried the whole Flounder court, go for yourself. Top cooking restaurant. the barramundi garnel with ingwer is from the charts delish! both in the city and in mt. pleasant places are great. ask for nam pla :
Great food selections, great staff, nice atmosphere. This is definitely more of an upscale Thai spot versus a small mom and pop shop. Good wine and drink list to chose from and prices are reasonable!
