Famous Toastery - Charleston

The restaurant is very clean and has quick service. I visited on New Year's Day and was told there would be a 30-minute wait, but we were seated in just 15 minutes. Our drinks arrived within the first 5 minutes, and our food was ready in about 10 minutes. The hollandaise sauce on the eggs Benedict was simply delicious. The omelet could have had a bit more meat, but it was still quite tasty.

The service was excellent, and while the food was decent, none of us felt it had that special wow factor. It's a good restaurant with solid food, but nothing that I would consider exceptional. The standout was definitely the maize bread served while we waited for our meals!
