Hibachi Hut - Charleston

I wouldn't come back, I understand the reason for the price increase, but the food is 85% rice now. I have 3 different dinners, with all these small proteins and massive amounts of rice. How enough rice for a few meals and hardly enough protein for 1 meal. No thanks, others in the area have better portions and better taste.

Best little hole in the wall ever!!! I literally ate here every day! The family that runs it is so sweet and friendly and the food is literally to die. Hot fresh and fast EVERY TIME! I wish I hadn't moved to town. Definitely worth the drive tho if you want good food and a good smile from the loved ones who want to work there

Excellent experience. The staff was very nice and food ready when I arrived. The place was very clean.and... the food is fantastic. Good portions and fresh veggies too. Back today..3/15/20.. less than half the meat. If they think that saving a few bucks at the patrons expense will help them out.. I won't be back now. A shame. 5/21.. I couldn't stay away. I'm hooked again, for good reason. The one small meal must have been a rarity. So far..one out of..a Lot of meals. My only complaint is that they don't open until 3 PM now. And it's now only 2:13! ;

The staff is friendly and the quality of the chicken hibachi is superior to many that I have eaten. Portions are large with wonderfully mildly, just right, seasoned al dente cooked vegetables and a large portion of delicious healthy short grained rice. Even my husband couldn't eat his entire meal. If you have an average appetite, just go ahead and ask for your meal to be served in a to go container. You will not want to leave whatever you have left. As seen in my photo, this is two thirds of what was served.
