Hubee D's - Charleston

Nicely surprised. I had traveled hundreds of times to Charleston in this place and one day decided to try it. This decision turned out to be a great one. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the owners are two of the nicest people you will ever meet. The Nabee D's sauce was amazing, as well as the other 5 sauces you have at your expense. They can say that they take a lot of care in what they do, and it shows in the quality of their chicken. You can also help you as many cooked peanuts as you want as you wait. Great experience, there were several times sense, their banana bread ice cream is also quite damp.

My husband I visited Charleston spontaneously went to this place. What an amazing discovery! We immediately liked the place when we recognized boiled peanuts were free supplements to our meal (self-service at the drinks counter). They were delicious! When we got our food, we realized we had found a jewel. My husband was incredibly impressed by the wings I have ordered through the taste and texture of the delicious packaging (drilled chicken, cranberries, goat cheese). We're from Charlotte and we both thought about how close the next hub D could be. We ended with a nice conversation with one of the managers, Doug, and we were pleased to find out that there are a few locations right in the Charlotte area. To complete everything, he treated us to a friend banana pudding dessert (local favorites) and it was heavenly! We loved this place! Great service, great food!

Best Peace Chicken and more.... Someone had to give this place a good review. It's nothing special, but that's why you're going here. Its southern fried comfort food. My favorite place to get my Saturday/Sunday roasted chicken. People are nice, lots of sauce (you do not charge extra like zaxby's), and the prices are better than Chik-fil-a. I'd say if you're in town, this place is much better than Zaxby's or Chik-Fil-a. Otherwise they are very comparable. Give him a shot and don't forget to eat much free roasted and cooked peanuts.

Enjoy it immensly! The fried peanuts are very tasty, the chicken finger basket was great, though something too salty, the staff was great, and I loved seeing the Studebaker pickup outside. All in all, a fun culinary experience and the food is also great. What is that?

We 'll be back!. My husband and I just enjoyed an early lunch at Hubee D 's and we were both very pleased with the staff, atmosphere, and most importantly the food. My husband ordered chicken tenders and fries with Hubee Sauce and I (am vegetarian) and had a Chopp House Salad and fries. The croutons were some of the best I 've ever had. They 're made from scratch--cornbread croutons (I left with extra). Each came with cornbread which was quite tasty. The best part (for me) was the Fried Banana Pudding. It was so cute and tasty, the perfect size. I will get one every time we go! My husband and I are both very surprised to read the other review comparing the food to other local restaurants that don 't use fresh ingredients. One of the best things about Hubee D 's is that they do! Not only that, but several of the menu items are made from scratch. Hubee D 's chicken is never frozen. When you go, make sure you read the back of the menu where it describes why Hubee D 's is different from other places. To Hubee D 's owner and staff thank you for a refreshing restaurant experience.
