The food is pretty good, the staff is terrible. I can't have dairy and half the time there's dairy in my food and I can no longer eat it.

The food here is fantastic and can be purchased using meal plans for College of Charleston students. While the dishes are often excellent, they are made fresh after you place your order, so the wait time can be significant. The menu features entirely vegetarian and kosher options, along with some vegan choices, making it a great fit for various dietary needs. Just be prepared for a wait; you likely won't receive your meal in under 15 minutes.

The food was decent, likely deserving of around 4 stars in a typical situation. However, the experience was marred by poor service. It felt like a hassle to place our order, and after receiving our meals, we noticed that a side dish we had ordered was missing. When I politely brought this to the staff's attention, I was met with a confrontational and rude employee. After I showed her the receipt, she refused to provide the missing side. A few moments later, she returned with the side, admitting her mistake, but she did so without any apology. While the food was acceptable and I appreciate supporting the college, the service was abysmal. The staff was openly confrontational and aggressive when all I asked was for clarification about our two vegetable sides—of which we only received one.

It is part of their meal plan, but you can also pay to dine there. There are plenty of excellent vegetarian and vegan options available. Keep in mind that it is definitely a cafeteria, so the meals are affordable, pre-made, and quite straightforward.
