If I could give more than 5 stars I would. By far the best sushi and sushi experience I've ever had. Will definitely be back!

Our visit was disappointing particularly since this was our favorite restaurant when we visited Charleston a year ago. Our waitress was fairly inattentive and always seemed rush and additionally she was nearly impossible to hear over the loud music when she was standing right next to us. Our sushi rolls were good (Playboy roll and Tuna Takaki roll). The lobster toban yaki was very good (the lobster and truffle butter was yummy). What was truly disappointing was braised short rib. A good portion of ours was totally dried out and inedible. When we mentioned it to the waitress, she had no response (perhaps she couldn't here us either). We expect more when paying $30 for an entree. We will not visit again when we come back to Charleston next year.

One of the best Japanese sushi experiences we’ve ever had outside if Japan! Food prep and execution were outstanding. Our server Ashley was knowledgeable, very professional and a delightful, engaging person. All around one if the best dinners we had in Charleston.

Eating was really bad. we have sampled many items on a menu, but none has left a satisfying experience
