Salthouse Catering - Charleston

Salthouse catered my wedding and they did a fantastic job! Jacqueline the sales director was great about communicating throughout the process. Most importantly, the food was amazing and the service was great. The guests loved the food. Highly recommend.

Salthouse was an amazing caterer for our wedding in Isle of Palms. We even doubled up with them and used them for our rehearsal dinner which was in a big boat! That provided a great discount, plus, who else serves on a boat!They are wonderful service and we liked that they were very communicative and aptly responsive. Easy to work with. Added bonus was the wonderful food experience during our sample tastings.

We used Salthouse for our wedding on 4/21/23 and they were so amazing to work with. We worked with Vince and Lauren and both were so wonderful! They both had extreme knowledge when it came to choosing food, how much we would need for our number of guests, and what people typically liked. The food day of was delicious and our guests said it is some of the best wedding food they have ever had. We did stations, which is something that was new to us coming from the Northeast, but it worked out wonderfully! All the staff on site day of were a delight to work with and kept service prompt. If you hire Salthouse, we highly recommend adding the short rib spoon to your passed apps, my husband and I still dream of them and probably ate ten of them during cocktail hour! We couldn't recommend Salthouse enough!

My husband and I are huge foodies and love to cook, so finding the right catering service for our wedding was very important to us. Salthouse did not disappoint! Throughout the entire wedding planning process, Salthouse was so helpful with every detail. We worked with Vince and Lauren who were extremely friendly, patient, and organized. They accommodated many changes throughout the process and were so thoughtful. From a food perspective, the menu selection was incredible! The ingredients were all very fresh and mostly locally sourced which I loved. So many of our guests told us afterward that it was the best wedding food they'd ever had, and I definitely have to agree. Even our vegan guests told us that they loved their meals! I will be dreaming about the shrimp and grits and flank steak and chimichurri for years to come. Thank you so much Salthouse, Lauren, and Vince!
