Taylor Books Cafe - Charleston

I absolutely adore the coffee variety at Taylor Books. They consistently update their specialty drinks to match the season, even during seasonal periods. The baristas are incredibly friendly, and the coffee shop has a wonderful ambiance. Plus, the bookstore regularly hosts local events. Definitely worth a visit!

This place boasts a fantastic selection of books, along with a cute little children's area filled with blocks and a small table. The coffee station is somewhat tucked away and has its own seating area. While the coffee was decent, I wasn't a fan of the to-go cups. I noticed many people ordering lattes, so they might be worth trying instead of the cappuccino I had. We also tried the tiramisu, which was surprisingly delicious! It seems like a great spot to curl up with a good book or to pick up a gift. I just wish we had more time to explore!

Charming little bookstore! I discovered it on my first day strolling down Capitol Street and couldn't resist returning the next day to relax and soak in the atmosphere. I enjoyed a delightful gingerbread latte with almond milk while taking advantage of the Wi-Fi to get some work done. It was a pleasant surprise to find their art section on the left as well. Overall, I absolutely loved the warm and cozy vibe of this place.

What a fantastic local discovery! We stopped here overnight in search of some good coffee and came across this hidden gem. We were not disappointed at all. The coffee is amazing, the atmosphere is delightful, and the staff is incredibly friendly. Plus, they have an awesome selection of books!
