Ye Ole Fashioned Ice Cream - Charleston

What a nice throwback to yesteryear. With a original ice cream flavors and dinner offerings. Shrimp po boy and tuna Salad sandwich was a big hit.

I love their ice cream so many guys, really excellent service, and great sandwiches. I will come back. They are always busy. But the food is very tastily.

Food was not even close to being tasty. Seems like an old business with a somehow good location that attracts people to visit. Maybe ice cream is okay there but I do not recommend this place for lunch. The employees are nice. The food is so bad I couldnot give this place more than 2 stars.

Wish I didn?t have to come leave this review, as I work in BOH as well and know mistakes happen. But everytime I get food here, it?s the worst quality. I try again and again because I enjoy the ice cream here. But I received my final order from this placeand my chili dog was swimming in chili. It looked disgusting and not appetizing at all. I understand chili dogs are messy. Butafter seeing it, I lost my appetite and wasn?t able to eat it. My simple fries also came drenched in cheese, which they weresuppose to be regular. Mistakes happen, but it?s the 4th or 5th time I?ve overpayed for my food to be worse quality than thesonic down the street.

I don?t get the hype. Workers are nice but everything taste frozen. Burgers, fries and man the Philly is terrible. Not worth the price or the effort. Everything is frozen and the burger wasn?t good and they gave me two top buns lol
