Taste Of India - Charlestown-bellahy

I was told by a family member who rates himself as a “ Curry Connoisseur “ that this was the best curry he has ever had. So on a recent visit I decided to try this establishment. I have to say that I have to...agree. This is the BEST CURRY I HAVE HAD. The restaurant on appearance doesn’t look anything spectacular but obviously the owners spend all their money on top quality ingredients rather than fancy decour. I had the Chicken Tikka Balti which I highly recommend and the flavours were a fantastic TASTE SENSATION. This place must be visited anytime you are in a km radius of. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED, EXCELLENT VALUE FOR MONEY

I heard many good reviews of this restaurant but only got a chance to visit this evening. I have to say, it has to be one of the nicest Indian takeaways I have been to in Ireland. Having experienced plenty of Indian food in the...UK, particularly Manchester, I have always found it difficult to find a good quality Indian restaurant in Ireland. The food we had was fabulous, great taste and flavour, large portions and all reasonably priced. The quality was just as good, if not better, than some of the Indian food I have had on the Curry Mile in Rusholme Manchester! I will definitely be visiting again and will recommend to friends.

The food was the best and portions were so generous, also really well priced. . Loved it. Would highly recommend.

We called last Friday evening to sample the restaurant on the basis of the reviews, my partner went to the bathroom when we arrived while I looked at the menu, however the bathroom was in such poor condition we immediately left, very poor in have had to give a star to finish the reciew, dont think it should get any.

Trying to find something for everyone normally means compromise, but I could not rate the quality of this take away any higher and would thoroughly recommend this place. We got two pizzas for and an Indian deal that included a chicken tikka rogan...josh with rice, chicken biryani, with a naan, popadoms and dips for This was a meal for four people but could have easily fed a family of six.
