I was a few times in this week while I was in the city for a convention and whether it was breakfast or lunch, it was very much what was offered. there were vegan choices and of course they tasted great, but I would like to see more in general. What is the point of returning only a part of it when they sell out constantly? other than that, cannot complain. it's all eating. elaborate, but great things.
Like almost any other wfm, this one is amazing! great variety of different (roh) vegan and gluten-free products and fresh food! also the offer of non-food items is great!
Many vegan options, some hot and many cold ones. Friendly staff!
While staying at the Home2 Suites hotel next to Whole Foods, I was excited to have the convenience of walking there for dinner every night. However, I was disappointed with the food I purchased as it did not taste as good as it looked. The grab-and-go options included items like vegan chicken salad wrap, falafel wrap, hummus wrap, vegan potstickers, and expensive vegan entrees such as sweet chili tofu. The chicken salad wrap was decent, but the other wraps were dry and the potstickers were not good. The hot bar had limited vegan options, but the vegan veggie pizza slice and lentil spinach soup were delicious. I also tried the vegan spanakopita, superfood salad, and brussel sprouts with pecans, but they were lacking in flavor and had some vinegar taste. Some highlights were the avocado sushi, chocolate cake, and vegan brownies. Overall, I spent a lot of money at Whole Foods, but much of it ended up in the trash. My favorites were the pizza, lentil soup, sushi, and brownies.
I usually try to avoid supporting Jeff Bezos, but this restaurant is a convenient spot to grab lunch in uptown between meetings. They offer a variety of grab-and-go sandwiches, options on the hot bar, pizza, and a nice selection of desserts. I recently tried a TLTA sandwich (which I didn't enjoy), some mac and cheese (made with nooch, which I liked), and a slice of Chicago diner cheesecake. They also have a good selection of vegan groceries that I can't find elsewhere, like BE-Hive pepperoni. I wouldn't go out of my way to dine here, but if you're in Uptown and looking for a quick meal, it's one of the better options available.
