Amélie's French Bakery Cafe Uptown

What a fantastic restaurant! I discovered this gem by chance, and I'm so glad I did! The atmosphere was wonderful, filled with creative art installations. The food was absolutely delicious! The staff were exceptionally friendly and dedicated. It was really neat to watch the bakery where they prepare all those amazing desserts! The service was quick, efficient, and welcoming. I wholeheartedly recommend that everyone come here for a great breakfast or lunch! The desserts are truly out of this world! I can't wait to return!

This restaurant is perfectly situated in downtown Charlotte, close to the convention center and many local hotels. The atmosphere is fantastic, and the service is top-notch in a spacious setting with unique decor. There's an impressive selection of bread, pastries, and sandwiches, along with excellent coffee. I enjoyed it so much that I returned every day during my 8-day stay in the area.

We really enjoyed the interiors at Amelie; they are eclectic and creatively fun! It's an ideal spot for lunch with friends or kids, a quick drink, or a coffee and dessert break. While the sandwiches are on the pricier side, I believe you're paying for the atmosphere and their well-established reputation in Charlotte. The desserts were wonderful, especially the hazelnut tortoise, which we absolutely loved.

This place is charming! I love all different lights and seating areas! It is large and spacious, but cozy and picturesque. The food is also excellent. I had a double-baked chocolate peanut butter Croissant with a cafe au lait. Oddly! Some Macarons too. Delicious!

Amélie’s has always been my favorite. Everything is very delicious and fresh. During the difficult fines we are facing, they are doing a good job staying open and serving customers the best way they can. I hope this beautiful place and other places will go back to normal.
