Big View Diner - Charlotte

I finally decided to sit at the bar, and I had a wonderful experience. Timothy, the bartender, was very friendly and knowledgeable. He was attentive and ensured that my visit was truly memorable.

Not a good experience. We ordered burgers and they were over cooked. When we complained to our server and a manager apologizes were offered. No consideration was given. Food quality and service were not what we expected.

I stopped by for breakfast this morning and it was fantastic! The food was delicious and perfectly portioned. The Spicy **** Marys were amazing! I highly recommend the Western Omelette as well. Our waitress was friendly and really attentive. Overall, a great experience!

Like other Google reviewers, I was fascinated by the high reviews, but it must be mostly due to the prices because the food wasn't really anything that stood out. I mean, it wasn't bad. We all enjoyed our meals, but it wasn't necessarily so great that we would return for the food specifically. The desserts must come frozen and not made in their bakery. Or if they are they must be kept frozen because the Big View Chocolate Cake was still frozen upon receiving and it made it very dry. The atmosphere is fun--lots of mirrors to magnify the space and high ceilings. The staff was pretty good too--very friendly.

Timothy at the bar was absolutely amazing!! He was attentive and personable!!! What a great experience highly recommend!!
