Briochee Doree - Charlotte

Their oven has been broken for the past 3 weeks. They have no signs or atleast warn the customer that their food might not be properly hot. Every single item comes disgustingly ice cold. Customer service is non existent here, where every worker there thinks they are doing you have a favor by working there with their attitude. Just disgusting experience overall.

It was a disappointing visit at 8am on a weekday. I was looking for a bakery item, such as a pastry or sweet brioche. There weren't any displayed. All they had displayed were premade sandwiches. I asked one of the staff members if they have any chocolate croissants. She went to the back to get the croissant for me. They have cold brew coffee. I don't recommend it. It was like drinking coffee infused water. The chocolate croissant was dry and tasteless. The service was average. It could have been a much better visit had all the bakery items been displayed. Honestly, I didn't know that they had other items in the back. I found out later that the online menu has Viennese specialties and desserts. I didn't see any of them. It just looked like a sandwich shop. I'm just guessing by the higher rated reviews that their sandwiches are delicious. Stick with the sandwiches, and maybe you'll have a better experience. There are better breakfast coffee options between Concourse D E.

Big sign behind the register advertising half sandwich and soup... But they 're out of soup. Not making a fresh batch , just out. Also out of espresso. And out of caring as well, completely indifferent about it. Settled on a tuna salad croissant, and wish I had just waited for a real restaurant. Croissant was way stale and tuna salad was just tuna and mayo. The best part of the sandwich may have been the leaf of romaine lettuce. I usually give restaurants a lot of leeway, but this place as the feeling of knowing they 'll never see any of their customers again, so why try? At least the tables were clean?

This has to be one of these nastiest places I ever had the chance to eat at. There were bugs crawling out of the coffee machine. The food cases were busted up and there were cracks in them for bugs to get in. The people were all extremely rude and inconsiderate. Everything was empty and no one seemed to wanna even go back and get me a bottle of water. I will never be back.

Good spot. Cheaper than other shops. Nice staff. And good sandwiches
