Celona Wine - Charlotte

This restaurant is bustling on a Sunday, primarily attracting a young crowd. We were served by Becca, who provided quick and friendly service. While there were some large plates on the menu, we opted for the small plates, which turned out to be quite generous in portion size. We were treated to warm, crusty bread and oil at the table. The beef paillard was fantastic, and the chorizo with figs was excellent as well, along with the pork belly. Unfortunately, the garlic mushrooms didn't meet our expectations. The meatballs served with marinara sauce were also underwhelming.

We decided to try Barcelona for a change of pace in our neighborhood, and the idea of enjoying tapas like we had in Spain seemed almost too good to be true. To our delight, the experience exceeded our expectations. We were welcomed by a young man named Von Smith, who was not only attentive but also incredibly knowledgeable about the cuisine and wine options. His personality and charm were truly exceptional. We also adored our server, Madison, who made our visit even more enjoyable.

The ham croquettes were truly outstanding. The rest of the meal was decent. The atmosphere is lively, making it a great place to gather with friends and sample some unique dishes. I highly recommend making a reservation. However, we had to wait 20 minutes longer than our scheduled time, and it took even longer for our server to attend to us. Once we placed our order, different servers would drop off the plates and quickly whisper what each dish was before leaving right away. If we hadn’t been prepared, we might have missed some of the details. Overall, it wasn’t a bad experience.

Came here for my dad?s birthday and had such a fun time! Everyone was so friendly and food was amazing. Sangria was pretty tasty and I can say the paella tasted like the one I had when I went to Spain!

My first experience at Barcelona was amazing! We were seated very quickly and our orders was taken immediately. The food started to come out almost 5 mins after we ordered! Everything was amazing! Abs Olive oil cake is a must. Can?t wait to return.
