Chicken King #2 - Charlotte

The Chicken wings were rubbery, the fries were soggy and cold. The burgers were extremely chewy. The hush puppies were the only item that tasted good and they were cold.

This is one of the hole in walls that we hear about. This food is amazing and the price is affordable, especially for college students on a limited budget.

It's was ok I'm from cali and it was good but just need to be seasoned but overall it was great for a fast food place

Order two hotdogs all the way.The hotdogs were like warm ,no ketchup,mustard ,only chili and a teaspoon of slaw, bun was cold and worse found a hair on my hotdog!I guess the manager is on vacation.He at least made sure food was cooked correctly.

This place looks a bit rough on the exterior. The best food comes out of these spots tbh.They NEVER mess my order up. My last visit I enjoyed the perch/shrimp plate with a half tea/lemonade. SOOOO good. Fried to perfections. Nice beautiful jumbo shrimp. They are not stingy with the amount of fish and shrimp.I recommend this, the double cheeseburger, onion rings, lemon pepper wings are some of the best I've ever had, and the grilled chicken chef salad is on my rotation.I eat here multiple times a month. Many times weekly.Call your order in to pickup but be aware it's little to no room to wait. The little takeout spot is usually packed with no real place to wait long stretches unless you have your car.
