City Barbeque - Charlotte

I recently ordered ribs for delivery, but I ended up throwing them away. They were small and tough, and reheating them didn't improve the taste at all. I’m very disappointed, especially since the ribs are not inexpensive. However, I must say that the fried okra is the best you can find in town. That said, I’m not sure I’ll be ordering again! After posting this review, the customer service team reached out and made things right for me. Thank you!

I ordered takeout and absolutely loved the brisket sandwich on Texas toast. The beans were also very flavorful. Overall, I’d rate the food a 4 out of 5.

I shared a sampler platter with my wife and decided to upgrade our sides to pints for just $5 more, which was definitely worth it. The baked beans and coleslaw were fantastic. However, the meat portions felt a bit small. We enjoyed the turkey, which is not commonly found in most BBQ restaurants. Overall, I would rate the food 4 out of 5.

Here for the first time- decided to go here because didn’t want to have a long wait and it’s close to home. Was much better than expected! Staff was super friendly and helpful with answering our questions. Very reasonable prices, great food! Had brisket, pulled pork, cornbread, Mac n cheese, baked beans and pickles- every single thing was very good! Looking forward to going again!

I'm a Dasher and when I came to pick up a delivery, I felt obligated to try their food!!!! Because of the good smell, the atmosphere and the nice welcoming of the staff.The day right after we tried with my husband, and it's simply delicious. The ribs are from other world. Super yummy ? ?
